Inside of Rare’s most recent edition of the Scribes, a secret competition regarding the five Banjo plot scenarios was made available. Those who guessed the correct answer (Rumor 4) were granted a Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts wallpaper, featuring some of the game’s characters, old and (presumably) new.

Rare’s infamous Pantsboard has been updated, its latest topic being the five Banjo plot rumors (posted on April Fool’s Day). Since the plot of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts has already been revealed, however, the only logical step forward would be to laugh at the folly of others. Mr. Pants awaits.

Looks like the folks over at RWP (Rare Witch Project) were able to get their hands on some concept art from the upcoming Banjo title (which, interestingly enough, has been getting quite alot of attention as of late). And how nice of them was it to show the world said art! :O Here, take a gander (and so continues the tradition of me putting a series of picture links at the bottom of every News Post. That’s what you get when you’re in a Rare-Elite without a Hylian):

A storm is brewing on the horizon and Rare is getting prepared to roll in the thunder and strike us with a bolt of excitement. We’re six days away from the second unveiling of Banjo-Kazooie 3 which is to provide us with fresh, new information and the first media of the game since the game’s announcement at Microsoft’s X06 event. Due to this highly anticipated event steadily approaching, Rare has launched their official video player where the most recent of their game videos can be viewed without the need to download them. Will we see a new addition for Banjo 360 come May 13th? We’ll have to wait to find out, but current signs are pointing to a resounding yes.

As Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise’s release draws ever nearer now that the game has been given an official rating from both the ESRB (E for Everyone) and the OFLC. With THQ being the publisher of the game, let’s just hope we’ll be able to find it once it hits store shelves later this year.
