Nuts and Bolts Amongst Most Prettiest Games of 2008

Call me scrooge, but pish posh at all the bloody lists. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts may be the most controversial Banjo title developed having still disappointed many Banjo fans with its focus on vehicular gameplay, but there is one area that it absolutely fails to fail at: the visuals. Nuts and Bolts is one of the most beautiful games of this generatio with its bright and colorful environments and sheer detail. Games Radar agrees, placing the game as the runner-up to first place in their Top 7 Prettiest Games of 2008. Would anyone disagree with this position?

A Look Back at Wizards and Warriors III

Wizards and Warriors III, one of Rare’s older games for the NES. What’s it about? I’ve no idea. Yeah yeah, shame on Hylian for not knowing of one of Rare’s classic franchises of old, but at least Destructoid is quite aware of it and has take an a look back at the title. Killer Instinct Among Top 10 Fighting Games

In the early 90’s, in a time where Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were considered the greatest games of the fighting genre, Rare took a leap and entered into the genre themselves introducing an all-new combo system that revolutionized the genre. That game was Killer Instinct and is still highly praised today. Therefore, it comes as no surprise to see it ranked as third in Cinema Blend’s Top 10 Fighting Games of All-Time. Ultraaaaaa Combooooo!

Nintendo 64 in Banjo Land?

Stephen Totilo at MTV Multiplayerbolg claims that a Nintendo 64 used to be located in Banjo Land but has been removed. I don’t recall ever seeing one in Banjo Land, perhaps he has mistaken it with the tied up console during the intro of the game? Anyone here remember seeing an N64 in any other location?
