I honestly have no idea what the NAViGTR Awards are nor where they originated from, but Rare has taken home one nomination and one victory. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts was nominated for best game with Control Precision, but lost to World of Goo. Reigning victorious for the “Game Sequel Children’s” reward is none other than Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise where it beat out the likes of Mega Man 9 and Lego Indiana Jones to name a few.
Congratulations Rare on your nomination and victory. For a list of all nominees and winners, visit this link

One of the most popular and best designed levels of Goldeneye was Bonds second mission through the Facility. Scientists must be saved, restrooms infiltrated, and traitorous Alec Trevelyn (006) is introduced for the first time. A hardcore Goldeneye fan has taken these things into consideration and has completely recreated the majority of the level into real-life espionage, with classic Goldeneye targeting and sound effects intact. Watch and enjoy!

This past Tuesday, Rare posted an update on their site regarding some Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts DLC. Here’re a few words from the Lord of Games himself…
“If all goes well, you’ll soon be able to experience a little something that I devised during a spare moment in exile from the Palace lounge as the Lady of Games watched some kind of dreadful house renovation show marathon. I have to say I’m quite pleased with the end result, apart from the section that Klungo insisted on contributing due to what he claimed was ‘popular demand’. Well, that remains to be seen. I’ve even topped it off with a promotional logo to keep you interested, as I’m told it’s all about the logos and PR and vertical marketing these days.”
The end of the article states that we should expect some more information “as soon as next week.” We’ll keep you posted.
