Here is a really old promotional video/interview Nintendo did for Donkey Kong Country back in the 90’s. Very entertaining. One of Rare’s founders, Tim Stamper, can be heard chatting via the telephone at the 5:15 mark….
Superstar Seth Rogan of Pineapple Express and upcoming film Funny People was a huge fan of Goldeneye 007 back in the Nintendo 64 era. In fact, he was even obsessed with the game…
“In my teens, GoldenEye on the Nintendo 64 was a very big game. I had almost every system between the Commodore and that one. That game I got truly obsessed with. It’s the first first-person shooting game that four people could really play against each other. It really got that down right, four guys trying to kill each other in an environment. I don’t think many games have done it better since.”
I couldn’t have said it any better my friend. For more on Rogan’s gaming habits, USA Today has you covered
