For anyone who has been trying to join the forums recently, I want to utterly apologize for the inablity of being able to register. We were having a few problems with our host currently who is migrating the site onto a ‘new platform’, so we’re experiencing some glitches here and there. However, Tyrant has now corrected the issue and you can now register as needed so that you can join in on the conversations with us about Rare’s classic games, the Goldeneye for XBLA fiasco, and the new Banjo site. Speaking of which…

Yesterday, we reported that the official Banjo-Kazooie website had launched. Today, Rare’s Community Manager George Kelion acknowledges its existance and claims that “Like the game, the teaser site is still under construction and you can expect updates relatively soon.” Now THAT’S what we like to hear.

*UPDATE* Rare has made a few small changes to the Banjo-Kazooie website. Those changes include the page size being larger, the gears now spinning endlessly, and the image of Banjo’s head replaced with a shadowy image of both Banjo and his loud-mouthed breegull partner, Kazooie.
