Rare vs Bungie in a battle to end all battles.

March 2nd, 2008 by Tyrant_Reborn

Rare has notified us that on March 5th they will be going head to head against Team Bungie at their own game…..literally. What does this mean? Read more to find out.

Rare can finally show just how much of gamers they really are, and how much of a challenge they can put up after long hard days of working on Banjo 360.

We’ll have results of the event after it happens. So stay tuned, this will definitely be one to watch.

Rare and Bungie, this is going to be a battle of epic proportions. BIGsheep has been training like the dickens, so let’s see if he, that ol’ land lubber Pirate Steve and the rest of the crew can pull it off.

  2. Lupaie Says:

ask Bigsheep to write a report here :) as a guest writer

  3. hylian1 Says:

That’s a great idea. If he’s up for making a post, then I’d love for him to.

  4. Banjo-Conker Says:

    Heh- sounds epic. ;D

I’m not sure if a report here is really necessary, though, as Bungie themselves will have videos (though actually viewable on Halo 3 only), as well as a write-up of the games. This is, of course, assuming that this will be one of their Weekly Humpday Challenges.

Maybe we’ll see a rematch in the future with some banjo multiplayer

The report is necessary for our continued success. Bungie wil be doing a write-up, naturally, but it doesn’t me we shouldn’t do one either. If we’re allowed the chance to write some nice Rare related stories, we should do so.

I don’t quite understand what this event is supposed to be though. :/

  8. BIGsheep Says:

A Humpday Challenge is where a team take on Bungie at Halo 3 in a best-of-three series.

Basically, we’re taking on the makers at their own game and expect a right royal pasting respectively :)

Ohhh, I see. Thank you for explaining BIGsheep. :)
