Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise is closing in on us. In 52 days, this latest installment in the Viva franchise will be landing on store shelves awaiting your loving embrace. To celebrate its upcoming release, we’ll be taking a look at the past of the franchise each day leading up until its US, Canadian, and Latin American release on September 2nd and its European release on September 5th. So without further ado, let’s examine Day 13…

Day 13: Visiting Gardens Becomes Reality

One of the big features that had been touted for Viva Pinata was the ability to visit another player’s Garden. Unfortunately, that feature was never fully achieved, leaving fans with only the ability to gift/trade pinatas and items over Xbox LIVE. With Trouble in Paradise, that is not the case at all. Rare has acheived their previous goal and made visiting other Gardens and much, much more a reality.

Over LIVE, up to four players will be able to visit another persons Garden where they can compete in races, golf, and other events to win ranks on the leaderboards. If doing those things aren’t your thing, then you can also just simply browse the Garden and even help construct it and so forth, depending on what permissions the owner of the Garden has set. So if this is a key feature you were anticipating for Viva Pinata, then be happy because Trouble in Paradise expands on what it originally would have been. Kudos to Rare for keeping their promise!
