EGM’s Trouble in Paradise Review

August 29th, 2008 by Daniel Duncan

Trouble in Paradise will be resting on store shelvels–hopefully for not very long!!–this Wednesday, and already the review scores are starting to come in. First and foremost is the review score from Electronic Gaming Monthly Magazine that gave the game an ‘A’ and Game of the Month for September. Fingers crossed that the rest of the media will do the same. Be sure and stay tuned here for our review as well shortly after the game releases on September 2nd.

Yay! Rare sure knows how to make good games!

I’m actually very surprised by the score. EGM has been sort of notorious for down talking Rare and giving their games low scores. Great to see the game is already well-received by critics

I second that. I had a fallen out with EGM when FIVE of their ten ‘most overhyped games’ just so happened to be Rare titles. I’m equally shocked they’ve given the game a great score. Perhaps they’ve stopped being douche’s now and are seeing Rare for the great developers they really are.
